Dirty, dirty India

Dirty India

The topic says it all: India is a dirty place, very dirty indeed. You have got to accept that. People of India boast that India is this and India is that, but I strictly assert that India has hardly got anything good for people to possess and cherish. You shall know about that in detail, when I explore the evidences of the fact that India is one of the dirtiest places on the map, and is getting dirtier day by day.

When I say India is dirty, the first thing that comes to my mind is something which India loves boasting: Eve-teasing. For women, India is certainly not a safe destination. Not at all. Rogues live in India, well, majority of them. And for my future probable critics, a small message: I am not talking about everybody in India, I am only talking about people who are vice natured; so, do not excite yourselves and start pouring in insensible and angry notions. This post is quite bold I should say. It rudely explores the truth behind this so called “good” India. So yea, coming back to the topic of eve teasing, India’s certainly rich in that as I have already mentioned. I have personally witnessed and resolved some incidents of eve teasing. So I am armed with strong matter that backs up the fact that women’s paradise doesn’t include India for sure. Day by day I am reading a lot about eve teasing in India which of late is nearing its peak: something that isn’t good. I wish I could travel places in seconds so as to protect women and their existence. But as far as I am concerned, if something of the sort of eve teasing happens near me I am not going to tolerate that and that will be manifested via crude actions from my part.

A new trend is also catching up: girls getting molested on the new year eve in various parts of India. Its a shame that a similar incident also took place in Delhi - India’s capital city. Laugh that off! One shit place India is. Women don’t get to live in peace here, and they go out certainly not failing to think at least once about their fear of being molested of eve teased. There was this case where a 10 year old was chased by a group of boys who were in their car. Poor girl even succumbed to injuries as a result of their chasing, and not only that, the boys gifted the girl’s sister some abusive and foul language too. You get what I mean, right? Good. So yes, India comprises this sort of occurrences and now tell me….India is a safe, good place where people are very cultured and blah blah blah, yeah?

  1. A girl passes by me at a bus stop. She is deemed beautiful “chokri” ( slang for “a pretty girl” ) by some notorious guys, also present at the same bus stop. They just can’t stop looking at her, and giving her dirty stares.
  2. At an eating place. A group of girls come to buy stuff to eat. Yet again, men there justify their sadistic delight by exhibiting dirty and cheap stares. The girls are helpless, obviously because all and sundry just cannot possess body guards, can they?
  3. Nearby a hotel, a woman is waiting for her people to pick her up. A group of men gather, as if letting the girl to succumb to a dirty trap. The girl understands that and just abandons that sickly populated place.

Oh common man! There are many bad incidents which I personally witnessed as I said earlier, and everybody does witness things. Ask anyone, a hard core majority of them would definitely assert their witnessing these kind of incidents. So long about eve teasing and molestations, there are yet many other things falling under similar category and which lack the possibility of being displayed here in my post, as there are plenty. I meant…plenty.

Next, media. Worst media ever is supposedly India’s, according to me. Here again, mind you critics, I am talking about non-justifiable media and not about good media. Girls are molested, and their pictures of them getting victimized are shown 24 X 7 on the news channels, and of course, browsed on the net by the same old sick, evil and vice, cheap and dirty indians. Now, if the news channels themselves display the molestation pictures of victims, how would the victims feel if they are being scrutinized by public all over India who are watching the news and on the top of that, the victims need a lot of support as the situations get worse in post molestation stages. Victims then would experince total hell, which the dirty indian rascals do not understand! So, the news channels. Would they do the same thing if their woman CEO would be subjected to molestation and eve teasing? Would they post her victimized pictures 24 X 7? What kind of a ******* place is this india where the reputed news channels themselves display such regrettable pictures? And wow! The news papers, the very next day are involved in the same act too : exhibition of the victims’ pictures being victimized. So this proves that even top influential entities here in india do not seem to have a moral feeling towards things! Now what can I even say about these activities? I wish I had a gun, I’d have shot the newspaper’s (s’) editors and the news channel representatives as well, and especially, the photographer who photographed the incidents LIVE and didn’t have enough shame to actually conceal them and not pass on to the bigger media which comprises dirty rascals: News channels and Newspapers.

The media is also deeply interested in celebrities smooching each other. Pictures of the same are flashed, as if global warming has reached its peak and we are all going to die! Again, ****** india, where celebrities should think twice before even getting involved with their loved ones! Ha ha! Very very “good india-ish” indeed! And of course, the crappy public of india is itself getting enthusiastic in matters like these, so what other job has the media got to do. Media is all about attention and they are getting it, in a cheap and manner less trends. Again, I am short of words. I cannot say anything about this!

A popular trend is also owned by the dirty india: Corruption. Needless to say, it is the most abundant practice you will come across if you are living in india. I cannot elongate more upon this particular topic: politicians, the so called police, and everybody is involved. And my blog isn’t too cheap to actually elongate upon them in detail too. And oh yeah, POLICE. INDIA’S POLICE SUCKS, SUCKS TO THE CORE! Police, according to me, should be fit, should be a product of GYM exercises and they should rock and be temples of power and protection. But what I witness is there’s this certain police head, a proud owner of the most disgusting belly you will ever find and also the most disgusting creation by God ever! Ok, let us put aside physical requisites. Duty…? What about that? They struggle to solve the most dangerous cases, always trying to put out the influential people from the case, and trying to divert the case as often as possible. Here again, I am talking about majority of bad natured police, and not good ones and talking about good police - once in a blue moon occurrence. They aren’t police. They are exactly the opposite. They are the legal thieves who dwell upon the innocent world and ignite their stinking and dirty reign, which isn’t justifiable at all, morally speaking.

Yaar….bahut ho gaya ye cheap india ke baare mein ( a lot has been said by me about this dirty india ). There are dirtier things about india, trust me, on which I do not wish to elongate as they are intensely explicit by nature.

So now, my loyal readers, you should be totally convinced about this dirty india. True, its not india, but india’s people. But I say, people make up a place, don’t they? So, there’s nothing wrong in saying that INDIA is a dirty place. Very very dirty and cheap. It is majoritively the home of criminals, legalized rascals, mannerless bastards, and a very irresponsible education system as well. Many, many things. So long about this, I guess I shall take leave for now as I am full with anger, which I need to cool down in a short span of time to defy a probable illness! And oh yea, india doesn’t deserve a capital “i”, and hence, you may not find that much in this post.

To end this, I’d say the only thing which is partly good about this dirty india is IPL - the Indian Premier League. Partly good because, of late, the issue of cheerleaders in the cricket game being eve teased also is abundant! The cheerleaders are reportedly exhibiting their fears of being molested, and they say that they are subjected to dirty stares and dirty things right from a 15 year old to a 60 year old! Dirty india will continue to fart out this dirty stuff till eternity. That is not my opinion because opinions do not seem to matter here. Any fool can also predict the future of so called “good” india.

You have an amusing reason cahyasuci. Otherwise, its not worthy about what you hate; well…I guess I am one of those rare indians who themselves explore the dirty side of their country for the country’s own good in hope for some beneficial realization by all people of the country.

I’m just sick everytime listens about her country achievements, the peoples and blah blah… I have nothing against India in fact, my husband is an Indian born here. Indian from India and Indian from other countries are not worth to be compared. Well, I’m living in multi-cultural country so in here, we’ve always respects each other religions, traditions and life-styles.

However this girl, from day 1 she arrived at my home till this very moment, she keep complaining how India is better than my country. I’ve always try to be nice with her since she’s far from her family & hometown… but her attitude annoys me alot … the way she saying like India is the best country.

Have some respect towards us…the citizen of this country where she earn a living for her poor family in her hometown…

Yes. I understand what you feel. I strongly feel that if you could tell her some reasons pertaining to the matter I have written in my post, she wouldn’t have many reasons to be proud of India for sure!

cahyasuci has made an important point, i am an indian and i too find similar kind of people in india and they just keep boasting about all good things about india, but i seriously dont understand what is there to boast about any particular region. its good to have some pride in one’s country but it becomes annoying when u keep on boasting about it.

I am in awe of your statement Rakesh. You are right, cahyasuci has made a valid point. Its time that these type of Indians wake up.

And cahyasuci, its pleasurable to know that my content has helped you :)

*sigh* Unfortunately, everything you wrote about my great country is true. And true to the core. By the way, R U an Indian? If yes, then hats off to your guts. I really took notice about how our Masala news channels don’t leave the victims in peace. I guess they torment them more than their assailants! I’ve seen the training videos of BBC journalists ( A news channel that I truly admire, DD news too ) and I must say I’m impressed. Why can’t our so called journalists learn something from this and instead contribute to making India a better place instead?

Again, I’d like to say that I’m working for an NGO. I’ve seen the kind of torture these women go through on a daily basis (Mostly domestic in nature). My first expression was that of shock (when I first joined the org). I didn’t have the stomach to carry on after some incidents i’ve heard. But then, we’ve all gotta give back something to humankind. I’m glad I’m doing my part. Which brings me to an important question to the blog writer. Are you involved with any social organization or do you just write articles just for the sake of writing? No offence intended.

Thanks Rohan, for actually realizing the truth through my blog post. No doubt that whatever I have written is true to the core. And yes, I am an Indian myself, so I have personally witnessed all of what I have written just as you have confronted our “masala” news channels - an apt name I should say! Our media lags behind by several parts, and not that, our country as a whole in fact. I am glad you have understood the importance of the dirty india post of myn

And I’d like to congratulate you for doing your part in giving something back to mankind :)

I write just for the sake of writing Rohan, and I wholeheartedly anticipate some change in the mindsets of my loyal readers after they have gone through my blog

I acknowledge the receipt of your valuable feedback. Good to know that there are people of similar mindsets thinking and feeling similar things in life :)

Many Thanks!

Veeraign: Thanks for the post. What you have written is indeed true for the most bit. Personally, when I was in Bombay or whenever I go back, I make it a point to give it back these lecherous, sex-starved fools when I see them teasing women. I have seen that the guts these people have is inversely proportional to the amount of eve-teasing they do.

cahyasuci: It sucks to be around a person who is constantly boasting about one’s country or whatever. Coming from Bombay (in Western India), I appreciate the multi-cultural exposure I constantly encounter in the US. Your tenant is really missing out on a lot of things by hanging on to some part-idealized, part-fictitious idea about India. A suggestion to deal with her would be to politely ask her five things that are unique to the US (or wherever you are) that she likes. Only when you have to think about the good things that are in a different culture/country/religion, do you realize how important it is to keep our minds open to everything.
