Welcome. This post is about how to make your blog famous; rather creative options are covered here. I have written the Part 1 of this concept, which you can read here - < Important tips to make your blog famous > Well, this post is a sequel, lets say, to my previous post which comprises simple tips to increase the importance of your blog. I sincerely hope that this information would help my loyal readers and other beginners or already established bloggers to make a strong ground for themselves in the blogosphere

• You certainly must have heard about Yahoo! Answers, right? Very well, you could register for the same, and start answering other people’s questions. What you could gain from it? Oh! Lots: Just provide the link to your blog at the end of every answer you give, and that will work wonders for you; provided you give some sensible and justifiable bunch of answers
• Talk about popular topics. Sensibly, of course. For example, in my case, I have once spoken about Svetlana Singh, the tallest woman in India and it yielded quite a lot of traffic. Its also about the quality of opinion you leave on that famous topic you are writing about
• Publicize your blog among your friends and relatives and they can do some work for you - like speaking about your blog to others, and others speak about your blog to a further set of others…etc. That would form a chain of noticeable readers for you!
• Controversy. It is something that you could write in respect to, and that way you are starting a controversy, which will attract a handsome number of readers. Controversy can be anything, ranging from terrorism to our current politics. I have, for example, written about “How to find and kill Osama Bin Laden”, and an appreciable amount of people have read that as it deals with strategies to eliminate Osama which is certainly interesting as he’s the most wanted criminal in the world
• This is a very important tip: Suppose that you haven’t got anything to write about, and your mind is completely blank as to what you could post about on a certain day, you can do this: Go to a top news offering website, and take notice of the most popular story/news piece there. Just write about that in your post, and do not forget to keep the reference link, which will take your readers to the actual story/news piece. This is really good and it really helps! By posting a reference link, you are neither copying the news’ content nor are you cheating the rules, you are just providing an important link to let readers read important news/stories
  
• You could also have some top bloggers write reviews about you. That will really improve the quality of your blog’s readership, and also get you appreciable traffic. Well, this can cost you some, as there are some “pay for review” top bloggers around
• After some time, when you have gained appreciable readership, do exhibit your top posts as that would impress your readers and also interest them to explore your blog further
• You can also try to help others. Like, in my case, I am posting a series of important tips to make a blog famous. Part 1 of the latter yielded 117 views in a short span of time. That isn’t huge, but what I have admired is the prospect of 117 views. So, help your readers, and they will love that!
• Check out the top 100 blogs on Technorati and contact those bloggers and advertise on their blogs. You can talk about that to them, and each blogger might charge his/her price, which sometimes can be quite high ( top bloggers might just be around $400/month ). Surely, this would boost your traffic. You might just want to witness that yourself by making merry of this tip
• Do lots of research on right selection of keywords. Keywords are oxygen for survival and consistency of a huge traffic. Users use keywords to browse sites, so that means you’d really have to stress a lot on keywords and do lots of research, I tell you again
• Your readers are the ones who are the makers of your blog’s success. Write what they love. A simple survey might really be of important assistance
• Have a pleasing design ( of the blog ). Readers tend to just abandon the site if the design is very discouraging
• Updating your blog is one thing you should primarily concentrate on because that would create a pool of continuous readership
• Building a network of friends on the blogosphere can be of big help. Make friends online. This is a great way to meet people and attract repetitive and beneficial readership
• Truthfully speaking, one quality post is enough to make you famous. You’d just need to work very hard for that one quality post. I suggest you chose a rather cool/popular topic and assert some interesting viewpoints of yours regarding that popular topic. If you could do that once a day, that’d be really great! One great post everyday would yield great traffic and great response
• Oh yes! Content is king. So pay max. attention to that, and write really justifiable content: something which you can defend
• Link out to relevant content. Wikipedia is a great example. Look at how each word ( almost ) gets linked to relevant content. This also happens to improve your Google Page Rank. So why not try this?
• Get yourself a private domain. That would make you look professional. Well, I haven’t succumbed to such an activity yet, as I am a beginner, just a week old. But for those who have been blogging for quite some time, do get a domain and that’s going to radiate professionalism
• And yet again, I say, patience, my friend, is a virtue…
